Project Manager

MiCiM provide focused, end to end project management and construction delivery services, specialising in the Data Centre and Mission Critical sectors. Our International teams are growing, and we are looking for experienced Project Managers to lead the delivery of some fantastic projects in Milan.

 

The Role:

  • As Project Manager, you will lead project meetings ensuring clear communication & follow-up on actions. You will establish the structure to meetings, defining frequency, communication protocols & documentation responsibilities
  • Acting on behalf of the Client, you will monitor the performance of the Professional Team and Contractors, providing regular updates & ensuring that all project instructions comply with contractual formats
  • Support the Cost Manager to ensure budgets are controlled and reported, providing informed recommendations to the client
  • Collaborate with the Professional Team to prepare, manage and monitor the project timeline and implement corrective actions when needed.
  • Prepare regular quality and progress reports, advising the Client on necessary decisions and securing required authorisations.
  • Implement and manage change control procedures to address project, design, and construction changes efficiently.
  • Take ownership of the main project Risk Register and ensure this is kept up to date.
  • Responsible for the Stage Gate process and ensure it is completed at every stage.

 

About you:

  • You will already have Project Management experience medium to large-scale construction projects.
  • Ability to build strong relationships with clients, professional teams and contractors.
  • You thrive in a fast-paced environment, managing multiple stakeholders and competing priorities.
  • Strong contract knowledge & financial acumen
  • Degrees in Project Management, Construction Management or Engineering subjects are preferable, but we’d also like to hear from you if you are qualified by experience.
  • You may already have experience in the Data Centre/Mission Critical sector, but we are also keen to speak to Project Managers in other sectors such as Energy, Oil & Gas, Offshore and Maritime.
