Mental Health Awareness Week

This week is mental health awareness week, an important time to advocate raising awareness for such important issues.  The focus this year is loneliness, which is a vitally important talking point, after a couple of very difficult years where social interactions were pushed aside, we must nurture mental wellbeing. At MiCiM we value the importance of building meaningful connections with your friends, family, colleagues and communities and always look into ways to reach out to our employees to check in on their mental health.

A number of our employees have undertaken mental health first aid training, which allows our colleagues to be available to others, opening up their empathetic side and just being available to everyone if they need it. We aim to have at least one employee across each project trained in mental health first aid.

Please just remember to keep talking and checking in on your friends, family and colleagues.
