26 Oct MiCiM attend careers fairs

In the past two weeks, MiCiM has attended two local careers fairs, one at UTC Reading and the other at the University of Reading, both of which were greatly received by the teams involved. They were able to speak to students of varying ages at different points in their lives, whether that be deciding what subjects to study next to enable them a career in the built environment or enquiring about placement opportunities or graduate roles once they’ve completed their degrees.

We know how important it is to be available and present at these types of events, to try and find the future stars of MiCiM, and generally encourage people to consider their career options in construction, as an industry we are all aware of the impending skills shortage gap.

MiCiM truly value these events and will continue to encourage the younger generations to consider a rewarding career in construction.
