MiCiM Volunteering at Thrive

Last week some of the MiCiM team gave up their time to volunteer at local charity Thrive.

Thrive support and work with a wide range of people – those who have physical or learning disabilities; people with mental health support needs; people who may have sensory loss or autism; people with age-related conditions such as dementia, heart problems, diabetes or stroke survivors and also young people who have social, emotional or behavioural difficulties.
The MiCiM team were able to help by building a much needed refuse area and clearing a pathway of thorns (with only a few scratches to show for it) to make it more accessible for thrive’s clients, it was so wonderful to be able to give our time to help out and we really hope to return in the near future to offer more of our construction skills.
