30 Nov Project Completion – RTL Ultra-Capacitor Modulator

Following the recent announcement and presentation of the project at COP26, MiCiM are happy to share that we have completed the delivery of Reactive Technologies’ ultra-capacitor project.

MiCiM partnered with AVK on this project by the highly innovative energy technology company, Reactive Technologies as Principal Contractor to manage the installation of a 5MW modulator asset to connect to an existing fault limiting reactor on a large industrial estate near Middlesbrough. This allows power system inertia measurement a critical factor as more renewable energy is added to the grid.
