Senior Commissioning Manager (Data Centres)

Our collaborative and transparent approach sets the standard for excellence, and we’re looking for a talented engineer to join our industry-leading commissioning team.

Role & Responsibilities:

  • Managing critical systems commissioning on data centre & critical infrastructure projects for high-profile UK & International clients.
  • Commissionability review of design.
  • Mapping of critical systems interfaces and sequence of commissioning.
  • Engaging with stakeholders to ensure commissioning processes are set-up and followed.
  • Working with package managers to manage the supply chain to produce and review the required documentation (scripts and results) to the required detail in the required timescales.
  • Supervising and witnessing commissioning activities.
  • Input to programme and planning tests and equipment (e.g. load banks).
  • Input to continuous improvement of commissioning processes and templates.
  • Reporting internally and externally on all project commissioning activities.

 

About you:

  • An experienced Engineer with the ability to take initiative, lead teams and work well under pressure.
  • Technical excellence in critical systems and a good understanding of multi-disciplinary input within building services installations.
  • Mission critical facility commissioning experience (data centre or other type of facility).
  • Knowledge of standard Levels of Commissioning, according to industry best practices.
