Summer Internship – Project Manager

MiCiM provide focused, end to end project management and construction delivery services, specialising in the Data Centre and Mission Critical sectors. We work with our clients to develop their best-in-class facilities in an open, honest and collaborative manner.

It’s an exciting time to join MiCiM as we continue to grow, and we are currently looking for a Junior Project Manager Intern to join our talented client-side team for a Summer placement.

We’d love to hear from ambitious construction & engineering students with a desire to work on large, complex projects.

With mentoring from our team of technical experts, you will support the smooth running of hyperscale data centre construction projects across the UK & Europe. You’ll work on live projects and discover what a career at MiCiM can offer through a mixture of onsite and office-based experience across the Technical, Commercial & Construction Management teams. You will be given the guidance and support you need to ensure you make the most of your time with us, and the opportunity to put what you have learned at university into practice.

Our 8-12 week summer placements are designed to give you a real introduction to the industry whilst developing valuable skills and experience to compliment your studies.

 

About You:

  • Studying for a Construction or Engineering based degree
  • Desire to manage large, fast-paced construction projects & programmes
  • A strong work ethic, and a pragmatic and flexible approach
  • Strong communication skills and the confidence to speak to people at all levels
