12 Dec MiCiM project with Centersquare wins Datacenter Dynamics Mission Critical Tech Innovation Award
At a London awards ceremony on the 11th of December 2024, MiCiM’s client Centersquare triumphed at the DCD Awards 2024 for their Liquid Cooling Showcase project, delivered by MiCiM. The award was presented by presenter and comedian Dara Ó Briain to Centersquare’s Director of Growth Strategy, EMEA, Charlie Bernard.
Completed in 2024, Centersquare’s modular Liquid Cooling Showcase was built to provide customers and partners accessibility to next generation cooling solutions for education, demonstration, testing and development opportunities. A unique aspect of the project was the need to accommodate multiple technologies and equipment from multiple vendors, and its use of existing infrastructure without the need for extensive replacements or modifications to the wider data centre facility.
By lowering the barrier to entry for liquid cooling technologies, the showroom concept could accelerate their adoption, transforming cooling strategies across the data centre industry. This demonstration of adaptability, sustainability, and innovation positions the project as a potential model for future developments in the sector.
MiCiM are absolutely delighted that the great work our team delivered has been recognised in this way at a major data centre industry awards ceremony and are thrilled for our client, Centersquare. We’d like to congratulate and thank everyone involved in this win at Centersquare and MiCiM, and thank the judging panel and DCD for making the award possible.
