The upgrade of an existing data hall for repeat business client by 1.5 MW. The project consists of amendments to the interior ground floor of LHR1-B building, to convert existing storage space to switchrooms, and create a new extension to provide replacement storage space. These work include the demolition of some existing partitions and the creation of new partitions, linings, doors, raised access floors, and suspended ceilings, together with installation of mechanical electrical and fire systems all connected back to existing infrastructure.

 

To upgrade the infrastructure associated with the ground floor white space additional generators, transformers, chillers and package plant rooms are to be installed externally. Internally two new power streams are to be created, consisting of LV switchgear, static UPS’s,  static transfer switches, PDUs, CRAH units and ancillary services.
